Schutz: The Christmas Story

Schütz’s Italianate setting of the Christmas Story is one of the masterpieces of the early Baroque, paired here with works by Schütz’s teacher Giovanni Gabrieli, and by two of his pupils, Alessandro Grandi and David Pohle.

Handel in Rome
