Dunedin Consort cancellations update

In line with government guidance on non-essential social contact and travel, and following the closure of Perth Concert Hall and The Queen’s Hall, Edinburgh, we are sorry to confirm that our Matthew Passion performances scheduled for 9 and 10 April have been cancelled. We will be reviewing all future performances as the current situation and guidance develops, and we will update our audiences and stakeholders as quickly and regularly as we can.

Like many arts organisations, we face extraordinary unknowns when dealing with this ever-changing situation but we are happy to confirm that we have committed to paying all musicians in full for all cancelled engagements in March and April. We extend our thanks to our principal supporters, Creative Scotland and Dunard Fund, and to several smaller trusts and foundations, for their understanding, generosity and flexibility at this time of crisis. We are also extremely grateful to everyone who has supported our musicians by donating ticket refunds from cancelled performances, and to those who have been moved to make additional donations directly. Thank you.

We look forward to sharing more music with you as soon as we can, and wish you all the best for your own well-being in this extraordinary situation.
