What are they?
Every year Dunedin Consort opens its doors to the community to run a series of Choral Workshops for amateur singers. Whether you are new to singing or a long-serving choir member, you will have the chance to enjoy working on both familiar and lesser-known repertoire, with input and coaching from Dunedin’s professional singers. The aim of these workshops is to brush up on some skills, learn some new music and above all have fun!
Who, what and where?
This year’s workshops will be led by celebrated soprano and teacher Mhairi Lawson and will focus on Handel’s magnificent oratorio Samson, an under-performed work filled with thrilling choruses. Workshops will take place in Aberdeen, Glasgow and Edinburgh in February and March 2020. All venues are fully accessible, with wheelchair access if required.
