This season we are artists in residence at Lanternhouse, Cumbernauld where we will present a programme of classical music on the big screen, open rehearsals, children’s events and relaxed performances.
We know that not everyone wants to sit in silence during a concert, some of us want to sing, dance, laugh, take a break or move around. Our relaxed, daytime performances are specially designed for those with additional support needs and for those with caring responsibilities.
This performance with soprano Mhairi Lawson will feature songs and instrumental music by Purcell and his Scottish contemporaries – with plenty of familiar Scottish folksongs along the way.
