Dunedin Consort returns to the BBC Proms for Bach Night, in homage to the themed composer nights that Henry Wood, founder of the Proms, hosted more than a century ago. Bach’s four orchestral suites – each a collection of dances, dazzling in their colours, textures and dexterity – are interpolated with four new co-commissions from Stuart MacRae, Nico Muhly, Ailie Robertson and Stevie Wishart. Join us in the grandeur of the Albert Hall, as we reimagine Bach’s dances as he might have composed them today.
