Accessibility
We want to ensure that everyone feels welcome at our events, and we hope you will find the information on this page helpful in planning your visit. We are very happy to answer any further questions so please contact us via the email or phone number listed if we can offer additional support.
Venue Access
We try to ensure that all our venues are physically accessible. All have ramps and adapted toilet facilities, and most have lifts to all levels. On our website you will find access information about individual venues — please visit the event pages for more information. If you are Blind or visually impaired and require additional assistance at one of our venues, please let us know in advance and we will be happy to provide support to guide you to your seat.

Social Stories
We are pleased to offer social stories for our Relaxed Performances and Children’s Messiah events, so that we can better welcome people on the autism spectrum and their families. Please visit the event pages for more information. If you would like us to provide a social story for another event, please let us know by contacting us on the email provided below.
Assistance Dogs
Guide dogs, hearing dogs and support dogs are always welcome at our performances.
British Sign Language & Captioning
Our Children’s Messiah performances are presented with British Sign Language. We also have team members trained in BSL who will be happy to assist you during your visit. Captioning is available at some of our events — please see individual event pages for details — but where it is not possible to provide captions, we always provide full texts in our printed programmes, as well as online in advance (for free).
Large Print Formats
If you would benefit from receiving any of our printed materials in a larger format, please call or email us and we will be happy to arrange this for you.
Relaxed Performances & Open Rehearsals
We know that not all performances are ideal for everyone. We offer several Relaxed Performances across the season — with the house lights up, more space to move around, a chance to ask questions and breakout spaces available. Our Open Rehearsals are also a great way to enjoy our music-making in a more informal setting, and even better they’re free!
Discounts for Disabled People & Carers
While we do not always have control over the pricing of tickets for external promotions (e.g. festivals and events outside Scotland) we are pleased to offer a 50% discount on full price tickets for all our own promotions for people in receipt of disability benefits. Carers go free.
Discounts for Under 30s/Students/Unwaged
We are pleased to offer tickets from £5 to under 30s/students and those claiming unemployment benefit. In addition, under 18s go free. See individual events for any restrictions.
